The brand is usually pinned down during the consultation, based on your house and what you care about, and quotes in two or three brands are available on request. Every quote prices each window on its own line, so you can replace your worst windows first or move individual windows between brand lines before you decide. Most first estimates get adjusted. Written quotes are valid for 30 days, so take the time you need to decide.
Before any work starts, repair or replacement, you get a full written scope and contract. A 50% deposit is due at signing unless you pick certain financing options, which we discuss at the point of sale, with the balance due on completion. Typical time from signed quote to installation is 2 to 4 weeks. You get rough timing at the consultation or quote, and accurate timing at contract signing.
